So to end off today, this is day #5, post #13~ This is just another picture of a street where you can walk forever and find new shops to go into and explore only to realize that EVERYTHING is expensive!
For a mid day snack/ lunch we went to Tokyu which is near the Shibuya Station and ate downstairs which had food ranging from sushi to TAKOYAKI (pictured above). Like omg honestly Japan is the best. In the picture above, there's 12 takoyaki balls and costed about 951 yen which is less than $10. GOODBYE SLURPING TURTLE never buying yalls takoyaki balls again -_-. They were so soft and the octopus pieces were delicious!
Alright after Harrison arrived and got some food (also at the food court area mentioned earlier), we went to KARAOKE! S/O to Jenny cause she and Fish surprised me with the Happy Birthday song as the first song :') Plot twist thought, the song they chose on the system was a legit Japanese Happy Birthday song with legit lyrics and Fish carried the team :'3. I had a little too much to drink I think but it was worth it. Sake is amazing and really burns oof but I felt it and it hit fasttt haha. This birthday honestly has been one of my favorites. Coming from an Asian household, we don't usually celebrate birthdays on a really large scale and so tonight was a fun experience and I'm so grateful to have met everyone! Afterwards, we headed back to the food court in the basement of Tokyu and bought some more food. Nearing the time of the day where each shop had to get ride of their food somehow, the price dropped dramatically for each good and it was amazing. I forgot to take pictures and I already ate it all :'( Just use yalls imaginations to imagine each meal better hehe. It's been a really good birthday and thank you to all of yalls for the birthday wishes~ I'mma snooze soon cause I'm really tired lol. Tomorrow some more people from the program is arriving so hopefully yalls will see some new faces! I'm so excited!!
